A man who was on board the Ryanair flight which came within six minutes of 'running out of fuel' mid-air has told of his distress - and why he believes the plane should never have taken off.
The three men were stranded in 'appaling conditions' for 42 hours in the Dowber Gill Passage, near Grassington, North Yorkshire, from Thursday until Saturday morning.
Rescue teams battled severe weather and flooding at Dowber Gill Passage in the Yorkshire Dales.
Officers are appealing for information about the incident, which happened while the man was working on the A82 in the Glen Goy area, about a mile and a half north of Spean Bridge in the Highlands.
