Israel on Friday announced it is officially recognising Somaliland, a first for the self-proclaimed republic since 1991.
Somalia's president calls for unity at emergency session of parliament, which declares the Israeli move 'null and void'.
Several countries and regional blocs have condemned Israel's recognition of Somaliland, a breakaway region of Somalia.
The EU said it "reaffirms the importance of respecting the unity, the sovereignty and the territorial integrity" of Somalia.
