Concern grows over what Rachel Reeves ‘will target next’ to shore up the government’s finances
Rachel Stallard, from Bournemouth, spent 'four days and nights' in a Thai jail cell with almost no food or water after a dispute with a client led to her arrest, she claimed.
Ms Reeves indicated the Government would consider the prospect of signing up to the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Convention (PEM), as it would any 'constructive ideas'.
The Labour Chancellor was probed with the question by Laura Kuenssberg on the BBC this morning where Tory opposition leader Kemi Badenoch also received a grilling.
Rachel Reeves was asked about the US President's 'boosterism' and if the UK can learn from him. 'Yes, I think we do need more positivity,' she said.
